No, the truck isn't hitting the track, but it will be there! The Chevrolet Silverado's multi-year agreement as the National Hot Rod Association's official truck means that it will be present at all NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events, but that won't be its only responsibility. As the NHRA Official Truck, the Chevy Silverado will also be joined by Chevy's Suburban and used for emergency response and track preparation as part of the NHRA's "Safety Safari presented by AAA."
