Chevrolet to Offer Beats Music App via Chevrolet AppShop

COCOA, Flor. - Chevy works hard to continually improve your driving experience - something Chevy drivers know and appreciate! Adding to the list of entertainment features in your vehicle, Chevrolet has announced they will offer a Beats Music App via the Chevrolet AppShop in automobiles later this year.

Beats Music is a great app the gives the option to hear music from every genre imaginable. There are a few ways to listen to music via the Beats Music app, one being create your own playlist. You can create a playlist and save it through your mobile account, and then access the playlist through the Beats Music app in your Chevy vehicle. You can also play music by listening to playlists created by professionals in the music industry. No matter the song you want to hear, it's all available for your ears at the touch of your fingertips.

To download the Beats Music app, drivers will need to connect to the Chevrolet AppShop through the high-speed 4G LTE network and/or data plan that comes with OnStar in Chevrolet vehicles. Once the app is downloaded, it will be accessible on the MyLink screen in select vehicles. A trial or paid Beats Music account will be required to actually play the music.

Chevrolet is planning to offer a Beats Music app via the Chevrolet AppShop later this year, however, there are currently an incredible amount of features to know and love now. Whether you want to listen to Pandora, get directions, or even make/receive phone calls, the Chevrolet MyLink system allows you to do all of this and more - hands-free! Using a simple voice command, your Chevy car, truck, SUV or crossover can keep you connected with the outside world without risking your safety. Chevrolet Brings In-Car 4G LTE to SXSW

COCOA, Flor.– For the fifth year in a row, Chevy is headed to the South by Southwest film, interactive, and musical festival and conference as a Super Sponsor! But this year, in addition to everything the automaker has brought to the event in the past, Chevrolet is bringing in-car 4G LTE to SXSW to let festival-goers be among the first to experience the brand new technology!

To celebrate the brand's return to South by Southwest for the fifth year as a Super Sponsor, Chevy decided to bring something big to the Texas event this year. As in past years, the automaker will feature speakers, advanced technologies, and music showcases from March 7-16, but that's not all attendees will get to experience. Chevrolet will bring in-car 4G LTE to SXSW this year, letting conference-goers be some of the first to interact with the in-vehicle high-speed data connection that will hit the streets this summer!

In addition to brining advanced new technologies and conversations to SXSW, a Chevy favorite will be returning too–Catch A Chevy rides! Attendees can count on Chevrolet to beat the heat and navigate the streets with complimentary rides in cool Chevy vehicles like the Impala and Volt. En route to their destination they can also test out the MyLink infotainment system too. So if you're headed to SXSW make sure to keep an eye out for wrapped Chevys cruising the streets!
