Chevrolet Colorado Child Safety Features

Chevrolet Colorado Child Safety Features

COCOA, Flor. – You've heard us talk all about how the new 2015 Chevy Colorado is going to redefine the midsize truck segment. Well that is true, and the newest Chevrolet Colorado Child Safety Feature is something you probably didn't expect from the truck. But as always, Chevy is one step ahead in keeping you and your family safe so read on!

When it hits the road this Fall, the 2015 Colorado will introduce many safety-related firsts for its segment, one of them being the new Chevrolet Colorado Child Safety Seat Feature that will keep your little ones better protected when they get buckled in. When you buckle your kids into their booster seat, manufacturers recommend having at least 80% of the booster seat base on the seat cushion for optimum protection. However, with extended-cab midsize trucks, that can become a challenge as a result of the small rear jump seat. No need to worry though because Chevrolet already thought that one through with the development of the Colorado's new patent-pending feature that allows you to remove the rear seat headrest and insert it horizontally into the base of the seat, therefore making the seat cushion larger and providing the additional support your child's booster seat needs to keep them safe!
